Deploy Marksman

Description : The Deploy Marksman ability is used by an Infantry Section with the recon upgrade, which costs 35 munitions. The recon upgrade allows Tommies to move through all territory at normal speed with a small drop in damage per shot. When used, Deploy marksmen will allow one member of the recon section to fire a single shot, which if it hits its target, will in most cases instantly kill it. The deploy marksman has many uses, of which most important is an anti-sniper tool when the sniper is in range of the section. The unit can counter-snipe any threats. Also, the recon section can detect snipers (as well as mines) within a certain radius. The Deploy Marksmen ability is also useful to cut down enemy medics and thin out Panzer Grenadier squads (they only have 3 members) early game (aim for upgraded squads first).

The Deploy Marksmen ability does have some disadvantages. First of all, the range of the ability is shorter than an axis sniper can shoot, meaning the section must chase down the sniper, which can often run outside the marksman's range. Also, the ability has a short delay before the sniper fires, so the enemy sniper and unit has to be well within the range to be killed
