Description : The Grenade can be thrown by glider-borne commandos for 25 munitions. The main use for the grenade, much like its American counter part, is to force Machine Guns out of buildings, and to destroy large concentrations of enemy units. The commando grenade is very powerful and runs on a short timer of 1.1 seconds before exploding. It is, in essence, exactly the same in terms of damage as the American version. However, this grenade has the longest range of any type of grenade in the game by a large margin, so using this to its full advantage is advised.

Note that the grenade and commando smoke ability share a timer, this means that once you invoke the concealing smoke ability, you cannot throw a grenade (and visa versca). Many players neglect the grenade ability, instead, using the smoke. This is a mistake, as the grenade is a very powerful and cost effective weapon.
